More than 15 years of building experience, centered on finish carpentry and custom millwork, with substantial roofing, painting, drywall, renovations, and general construction. Recent independent work includes website development, backend systems administration, automation, and small software tools, alongside farm, property, and custom building projects.
I’m open to full-time work for the right role. I’m also interested in flexible hours, part-time or project work, and helping with overflow.
I’ve generally preferred learning how things work well enough to maintain and repair them myself.
I’ve used Linux for most of my life. More recently, I’ve been building and administering Linux services, websites, and automation.
I build, repair, and upgrade my own desktop systems, including diagnosis, parts replacement, repasting, and operating-system installation.
I handle most maintenance and repairs on my own vehicles and pedal bikes, including troubleshooting and parts replacement.
